I'm BACCCCK
I am the very definition of a part time blogger. I don't post regularly and I randomly disappear because... life and kids and I don't know... I just don't feel like it?
August has been BRUTAL around these parts. Grace doesn't go back to school until after Labor Day. I'm pretty sure at this point my children know this and are doing everything in their power to drive Rob and I absolutely crazy. I am exhausted. Having three kids isn't necessarily so rough. But Brooke being in the midst of the worst round of terrible twos I ever hope to deal with absolutely does not help things. So I am surviving... just barely.
We have taken a massive step back from doing most things out on the town the last half of this summer. Between the unbearable heat and the viral hand, foot and mouth crap. We are actively avoiding other children and indoor just about anything these days.
On top of all of that, Rob tore apart our yard and installed an irrigation system this month. Mostly all by himself. While I am super proud that he takes on such large projects by himself, but it has definitely been a long few weeks. Our yard had massive trenches in it for the better part of three weeks and to avoid any leg breaking, I have been walking our VERY stubborn black lab way too many times a day. Luckily, as of today... it is mostly back to normal and now we have moved on to the next stage... replanting the grass.
So to say August has been whooping my butt is an absolute understatement. I did manage to completely flip Somewhere Over the Camo on its tail end and give it a face lift. I am still working on a few aspects, but I am very happy with it so far. Check it out. Give me some feedback.
I am going to do my absolute best to get back into things. Fingers and toes crossed that the last of August and month of September get us back into a groove. AND FALL. I am SO ready.

I'm feeling the same way when it comes to blogging. The desire just isn't there all the time. Can I just say that picture of the girls is the cutest!!
ReplyDeleteIt is hard. Especially when everything else in life is just so stinking busy. Blogging almost always takes a back burner. And thank you lady!
